Amber Scaffolding Limited is committed to ensuring, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all its employees and others who may be affected by its work activities. This commitment extends to the provision of adequate resources necessary to fully discharge its own statutory and civil duties and that of managers, supervisors and the workforce in connection with health and safety at work. We will engage with our employees and others effected by our acts on matters effecting their Health and Safety.

Amber Scaffolding Limited strives to achieve excellence in Health and Safety performance, maximising efforts to prevent accidents. To this end it is developing a Safety Management System based upon continuous improvement and a positive safety culture where Health and Safety ranks above all other business objectives.

Health and Safety management is a line management responsibility and an integral part of all Amber’s activities. Amber employs a Health and Safety Manager to support the line management to discharge its day to day responsibilities, and to help implement and monitor this policy and safety management system. As the Chairman I have ultimate responsibility for health, safety and welfare at Amber Scaffolding Limited.

Therefore, the company expects all its employees to act in a responsible manner and to fully cooperate with the implementation of this safety policy and Safety Management System. The senior management recognises that soliciting the opinion and assistance of the workforce in all aspects of health, safety and welfare is an essential part of creating a safe working culture.
